2018 New Mexico Academy for Victim Assistance

The New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission is pleased to host the 2018 New Mexico Academy for Victim Assistance. Participants will enhance their advocacy skills through curriculum designed to support core advocacy services, increase knowledge of community and statewide resources and develop a personal network of professional peers. NMCVRC is excited to offer full scholarships to every attendee and encourages all agencies to apply.

 Scholarship Includes:  three-day training, four nights lodging at the Eldorado Hotel in Santa Fe, food per diem, and mileage. For more information please email CVRC.Grants@state.nm.us or contact the NMCVRC Grants Department at 505.841.9432.

 *Important* If you are interested in attending the 2018 New Mexico Academy for Victim Assistance, please submit the attached application indicating which training session you would prefer. After the application is approved the participant will then receive the agenda, logistical information and details regarding registration. Please submit all applications via email to: CVRC.Grants@state.nm.us

 Pre-requisite: Participants are required to have completed the Online Victim Assistance Training offered through the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance prior to the start of the New Mexico Academy for Victim Assistance. The training covers four    sections: Basics, Core Competencies and Skills, Crimes, and Specific Considerations for Providing Victim Services.
