For Those Impacted by Aztec High School Shooting
The New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission (CVRC) would like to extend their sincere sympathies to the community, families, students and staff of Aztec High School. We are a state agency whose primary mission is to provide financial assistance to victims of violent crime in regard to expenses incurred as a result of being victimized. Please read below to see how to submit a Mass Casualty CVRC Application.
Please click on, download, print and complete the Crisis Response Application below. Please email (CVRC@state.nm.us) or fax (505.841.9432) the completed application back to New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission.
Please contact our office at 505.841.9432 and ask to speak to Katie Langston, Victim Advocate or Robin Brassie, Deputy Director with any questions regarding the application or possible expenses that may be eligible for reparations.
The most likely expense is counseling. Please note that the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department has made available $150,000.00 for counseling for the students. Please contact your school counselor to learn more about how to arrange for these counseling services.
